In late 2025 I switched from Firefox to Chrome at work because Google apps like Gmail were performing so poorly.

Here's the bug that seemed relevant: Sporadic Google Drive load times on Firefox browser - Chrome and Safari work fine - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1990699

That bug was closed by this version of Firefox: https://www.firefox.com/en-US/firefox/143.0.4/releasenotes/

However, it didn't help. I was forced to switch anyway.
